Round bottom, clear 96-well polystyrene microplates coated with Ultra Low Attachment (ULA) surface for 3D culture of mammalian cells. This ULA coating in round-bottom wells facilitates formation of round spheroids after incubating seeded cells.

Overview

Our CellCarrier Spheroid ULA microplates enable the use of three-dimensional (3D) cell culture models for cell-based microplate assays. The unique Ultra-Low Attachment (ULA) surface enables the formation of consistently round spheroids for highly reproducible imaging data. The 3D spheroid cellular model can better simulate natural cellular interactions and mimic in vivo microarchitecture for more biologically-relevant information.

Packaging Notes:
  • Cases of 10 are packaged as individually-packed lidded plates
  • Cases of 40 are packaged as 2 sleeves of 20 plates, lids included
