ScintiPlate-96, White Polystyrene, 96-well Microplate, Clear Wells with Scintillator. A bioactive surface and a scintillator in one, ScintiPlate is a 96-well flat-bottomed plate in 8 x 12 format with clear polystyrene wells, containing a scintillator, permanently fixed in an opaque white matrix.. The plates have a medium binding surface characteristic. The scintillator is an integral part of the polystyrene and is inert in any biological reaction. Any radioactive-bound component will produce a scintillation event through the plastic. ScintiPlate is not affected by colored buffers. It is also supplied with tissue culture surface treatment (part number 6005390) or can be customized with a variety of coatings.
