Microplates for Genomic Analysis

Next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies are enabling science at unprecedented rates. As the cost of sequencing declines, throughput continues to increase and the number of applications for which sequencing data can be used is expanding.

To support the growing numbers of samples and applications, Revvity has assembled a portfolio of high quality NGS microplates, as well as other consumables, needed to run sample preparation workflows for standard reagent platforms.

Revvity's NGS microplate consumables complement our total solution for Next Generation Sequencing which includes our Sciclone® G3 NGSx and JANUS G3 NGS Express workstations as well as our Zephyr® G3 liquid handling platform.

Applicability of AlphaLISA technology to a wide spectrum of complex biological samples

Alpha (Amplified Luminescent Proximity Homogeneous Assay) technology is a bead-based, no-wash alternative to traditional ELISAs. Instead of detection with an HRP substrate, the Alpha assay signal is generated by the excitation of an Eu+-coated bead that has been conjugated to the detection antibody. Alpha technology offers a simple, straight forward workflow. No wash needed! Add sample Add Acceptor bead mix; incubate 1 hr Add Donor beads; incubate 30 mins Read on Alpha-enable microplate reader Download this application note to see how no-wash AlphaLISA ™ technology provides a more-convenient alternative to ELISA for quantitation of biomarkers in complex sample types, including tissue, serum, and plasma.

High Throughput assays to compare the performance and stability of an engineered Fc silent antibody to a therapeutic antibody

Over the last decade, therapeutic antibodies have emerged as the predominant class of new drugs. Assays to functionally characterize and evaluate antibodies can be used in the discovery process as well as during the development stages of antibody therapeutics. In this detailed case study, we show a suite of assays that can be used to compare an engineered antibody (adalimumab Fc Silent ™ ) to the original therapeutic antibody (Adalimumab). In this application note, discover how Alpha, HTRF and LabChip ® Protein Express assays can help when you are: Comparing the binding affinities of engineered antibody or original therapeutic antibody to the target or Fc receptors, or for readouts in functional cell-based assays Assessing binding capabilities after thermal stress, to check antibody stability Looking for critical data to build confidence in a biosimilar or an engineered therapeutic antibody

Simultaneous measurement of chemokine/cytokine release and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity upon binding with rituximab

Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) is a cell-mediated immune response where an effector cell destroys an antibody-bound target cell. This process involves cells that express tumor or pathogen-derived antigens on their surface, which are targeted by therapeutic antibodies. The binding of the antibody and the effector cell triggers a series of signaling events, leading to the activation of the effector cell and the release of chemokines and cytokines into the tumor microenvironment. Simultaneous detection of ADCC activity and release of chemokines and cytokines from activated NK cells is possible via the combined use of DELFIA TRF and AlphaLISA technologies. Read this application note to access: ADCC assay protocol - ADCC experiment with rituximab Data collection and analysis Formula Calculation and detailed results
