Test Description
Determination of First-Trimester Screening marker concentration values and Multiple of Medians (MoM) of hCGb & PAPP A along with ultrasound markers.
Indications for Testing
The maternal serum screening test is a blood test offered to pregnant women. It helps to inform them of the chance of their unborn child having Down syndrome, Edward syndrome or a Patau Syndrome.
Condition Description
This early First Trimester Screening is performed between the 11th and 13th week of pregnancy.
