
Revvity’s VivoJect™ image-guided injection system is designed to work with the Vega™ automated preclinical ultrasound system. This innovative, compact injection system enables researchers to rapidly administer targeted delivery of cells and drug therapies into mice.
The VivoJect injection system offers a higher throughput alternative to traditional techniques speeding up imaging workflows. In addition, delivery is minimally invasive reducing the need for lengthy recovery times and aligns with IACUC standards.

Motorized animal platform with controlled needle alignment
The VivoJect system has a motorized XYZ positioning platform for controlled movement with fine positioning using a joystick for easy, targeted injections. The joystick manages X and Y movements, allowing the animal platform to move forward/backward and side to side. The Z-controller adjusts the gantry’s up and down movement.
Home position recognition
Ideal for high-throughput sequential animal injections, the system features home position recognition, which automatically moves the animal to the loading position with a single button click.
Co-location of needle & transducer guide
The VivoJect image guided injection system also features a needle and transducer co-located on an overhead single rail gantry system. This design streamlines and accelerates the process for researchers, allowing them to easily visualize the needle in the ultrasound stream and set up its trajectory.
