14C-labeled protein molecular weight markers for gel electrophoresis and autoradiography. Gel electophoresis is a widely employed technique for determining the molecular weight of proteins. The mobility of a protein on polyacrylamide gels containing sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) is primarily a function of the size of the macromolecule. 0.02 µCi of each marker is sufficient for overnight detection by autogradiography.
