Overview
250 µCi quantities of Guanosine 5`-(γ-thio)triphosphate, [35S]-, in 10 mM Tricine (pH 7.6), 10 mM DTT, 1.0 mC/mL. Guanosine triphosphate, labeled on the gamma phosphate group with 35S (GTP?S), is used in GTP binding assays with cell membrane preparations as a functional assay for certain classes of GPCRs. It is hydrolyzed slowly, and is considered a non-hydrolyzable analog for GTP binding assays.
