The DELFIA® Eu-N1 ITC chelate is optimized for the europium labeling of proteins and peptides for use in dissociation-enhanced time-resolved fluorometric assays. Isothiocyanate (ITC) activated chelates react primarily with free amine groups such as those at the N-terminus of protein
or lysine residues. 1 mg allows labeling of up to 5 mg of antibody. Europium standard is provided to determine labeling ratio and use as an instrument control.
