CD34+ cells are isolated from human umbilical cord blood using positive immunomagnetic separation techniques from a single or pooled cord blood unit(s) resulting in > 95% viability and > 90% purity. Certificate of Analysis is included. Cord Blood units are collected from donors following IRB-approved protocols and/or in accordance with local, state and national regulatory requirements.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Overview
CD34 is a glycosylated transmembrane protein that serves as established marker of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Umbilical Cord Blood (CB) is a rich source of CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), a rare and primitive population of multipotent cells that can give rise to all blood cell types.
Due to their superior proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, cord blood-derived CD34+ stem cells are an advantageous choice for a wide range of research including genome editing, immune regulation, hematopoiesis, and regenerative medicine.
Our CD34+ stem cells are derived from ethically sourced human umbilical cord blood collected using IRB protocols and/or in accordance with local, state and federal requirements. We use positive immunomagnetic techniques to isolate the cells resulting in a highly enriched population of CD34+ cells with exceptional viability.
