Application of [14C]Cholesteryl Oleate can be found in: uptake of the nanoemulsion by endothelial cells in the presence of HDL and LDL in atherosclerosis, plasma kinetics and uptake by the tumor of a cholesterol-rich microemulsion (LDE) associated to etoposide oleate in patients with ovarian carcinoma, an artificial nanoemulsion carrying paclitaxel decreasing the transplant (rabbit) heart vascular disease, effects of etofibrate upon the metabolism of chylomicron-like emulsions in patients with coronary artery disease, etc.
