Overview

The AlphaScreen TruHits kit is designed as a tool for AlphaScreen users to identify false positives in AlphaScreen HTS assays early in the screening process and in a cost effective way. This kit includes Streptavidin Donor Beads and Biotinylated Acceptor Beads, which interact together to generate an AlphaScreen signal. The AlphaScreen TruHits kit allows the identification of color quenchers, light scatterers (insoluble compounds), singlet oxygen quenchers and biotin mimetics interfering with the AlphaScreen signal, and thus facilitates the detection of false positives.
