Extra control lysate for the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra total VEGFR-2 assay. This control is already provided in the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra total VEGF R2 assay kit, but can also be ordered separately.

Overview
This control lysate is intended for use with the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra total VEGFR-2 assay kit, or for use as a control for those running orthogonal or secondary assays along with the SureFire assay. To prepare the lysate, HUVEC cells were grown to confluence in T175 flasks, and then serum-starved overnight. The following day the media was removed, and the cells were treated with 100 ng/mL VEGF for 10 minutes. The agonist was removed, and the cells were lysed with 4 mL of freshly prepared 1X Lysis buffer, with shaking for 10 minutes.
