Overview

RAB12 is member of the RAS Oncogene family which is involved in several processes, including cellular response to insulin stimulus, endosome to lysosome transport, and secretion by cell. The small GTPases Rab are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking via the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. Rabs can recruit several downstream effectors directly in charge of vesicle production, movement, anchoring, and fusing to membranes in their active GTP-bound form, which is able to cycle between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form. Diseases associated with RAB12 include Newfoundland Rod-Cone Dystrophy, Periampullary Adenocarcinoma, and Parkinson’s Disease.

Formats:
  • The HV (high volume) kit contains reagents to run 100 wells in 96-well format, using a 60 μL reaction volume.
  • The 500-point kit contains enough reagents to run 500 wells in 384-well format, using a 20 μL reaction volume.
  • The 10,000-point kit contains enough reagents to run 10,000 wells in 384-well format, using a 20 μL reaction volume.
  • The 50,000-point kit contains enough reagents to run 50,000 wells in 384-well format, using a 20 μL reaction volume.
