This control lysate is intended for use with the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Acetylated p53 (Lys382) Detection Kit or for use as a control for those running orthogonal or secondary assays along with the SureFire assay. The lysate is prepared from U2OS cells, cultured to confluence in T175 flasks in 10% FBS containing medium, then treated with 1 µM Doxorubicin for 18 hours, and lysed in 8 mL of 1X SureFire Ultra Lysis Buffer.
