The AlphaLISA® SureFire® Ultra™ Total MLKL assay (mouse) is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of total MLKL in cellular lysates using Alpha Technology.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. All products to be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations including without limitation, consumption & disposal requirements under European REACH regulations (EC 1907/2006).
Mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein is encoded by the MLKL gene in murine species. This protein plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced necroptosis, a programmed cell death process, via interaction with receptor-interacting protein 3 (RIP3) key signaling molecules in the necroptosis pathway. Inhibitor studies and knockdown of this gene inhibit TNF-induced necrosis. High levels of this protein and RIP3 are associated with inflammatory bowel disease in children.
The AlphaLISA®SureFire®Ultra™ total mouse MLKL assay is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of mouse MLKL (phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology. This assay is intended to be used for normalization phosphorylation studies.
