The AlphaLISA® SureFire® Ultra™ Human and Mouse Phospho-HDAC5 (Ser259) assay is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of phospho-HDAC5 (Ser259) in cellular lysates using Alpha Technology.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. All products to be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations including without limitation, consumption & disposal requirements under European REACH regulations (EC 1907/2006).
Histone Deacetylase 5 (HDAC5) is an enzyme and class II HDAC responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation indicates epigenetic repression and is involved in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Mutations in HDAC expression are strongly associated with loss of tumor protection genes. HDAC mutations are associated with breast cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), lung cancer, pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer, and colorectal cancer.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human and Mouse Phospho-HDAC5 (Ser259) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-HDAC5 (Ser259) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
