Cyclin E1, also known as CCNE1, is a member of the cyclin family, which is known for its various roles in the cell cycle. Cyclin E1 forms a complex with cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), which is required for cell cycle G1/S transition, and acts as a regulatory subunit. Overexpression of Cyclin E1 is implicated in many tumors, including breast, ovarian, endometrial, and bladder cancer.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Phospho-Cyclin E1 (Thr77) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-Cyclin E1 (Thr77) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology, with a cyclin E1 (phospho-Thr77) antibody that recognizes Cyclin E1 of human origin.
