The AlphaLISA® SureFire® Ultra™ Human and Mouse Phospho-BRD2 (Ser37) assay is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of phospho-BRD2 (Ser37) in cellular lysates using Alpha Technology.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. All products to be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations including without limitation, consumption & disposal requirements under European REACH regulations (EC 1907/2006).
Bromodomain containing 2 protein (BRD2) is a member of the Family II of Bromodomains, which includes BRD3 and BRD4. BRD2 is associated with transcription complexes and acetylated chromatin during mitosis and plays an important role in gene transcription. BRD2 and BRD3 perform overlapping cellular functions which suggests that the simultaneous disruption or depletion of these proteins may represent a promising drug therapeutic strategy against cancer. Dysregulation of BRD2 is linked to numerous cancers, such as breast, multiple myeloma, and acute leukemia.
