Aurora B, also known as Aurora Kinase B and serine/threonine-protein kinase 12, is an enzyme coded by the AURKB gene. Aurora B is a mitotic checkpoint kinase that plays a pivotal role in the cell cycle, ensuring correct chromosome segregation and normal progression through mitosis. Overexpressed Aurora B is found in many types of human cancers.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Phospho-Aurora B (Thr232) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-Aurora B (Thr232) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
