The AlphaLISA™ SureFire® Ultra™ Human and Mouse Phospho-α-Synuclein (Ser129) assay is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of phospho-α-Synuclein (Ser129) in cellular lysates using Alpha Technology.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. All products to be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations including without limitation, consumption and disposal requirements under European REACH regulations (EC 1907/2006).
α-Synuclein is a neuronal protein encoded by the SNCA gene that regulates synaptic vesicle trafficking and subsequent neurotransmitter release. α-Synuclein is a prominent component of intracellular fibrillary aggregates in the brains of patients suffering from synucleinopathies. This protein represents a key molecular hallmark for Parkinson’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, or multiple system atrophy. The extensive phosphorylation of α-Synuclein on Ser129 is also associated with a pathological event.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human and Mouse Phospho-α-Synuclein (Ser129) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phosphorylated alpha synuclein in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
