Apoptosis Assay Kits and Reagents
Optimized for Cellometer, Cellaca and Celigo platforms
Apoptosis assay kits and reagents
Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, is a natural process of cellular self-destruction. Apoptosis is necessary for routine cell turnover and tissue homeostasis. It is also important in embryogenesis, maintenance of immune tolerance, and development of the nervous system. Problems with the regulation of apoptosis are thought to be linked to many cancers, degenerative diseases, and autoimmune diseases, making apoptosis a key target in many fields of clinical research.
Our range of reagents for detecting apoptosis includes assays for: Annexin V, Caspase 3/7-Live-cell, Caspase 3.
Annexin V-FITC / PI Apoptosis kit and reagents for Cellometer
The kit is designed to detect annexin V positive cells as well as dead/necrotic propidium iodide-positive cells. The kit reagents can also be purchased separately.
ViaStain™ No-Wash Annexin V-FITC kit for Celigo
This kit enables the analysis of apoptosis of both suspension and adherent cell cultures on the Celigo image cytometer without disturbing them.
ViaStain Live Caspase 3/7 Detection for 2D/3D Culture for Celigo
This kit is designed to measure apoptosis by detecting caspase 3/7 activity in live cells. To enumerate the total number of nucleated cells and obtain the percentage of apoptotic cells, the kit is also available with Hoechst 33342 to counterstain the cells.
Cellaca PLX Apoptosis detection kits
Designed for use with the Cellaca PLX image cytometry system, the apoptosis detection kits perform functional assays to determine cell health.
